What is Discover Dance?
Discover Dance is a series of movement classes designed to introduce children to the creative and expressive world of dance. Each program offers children the opportunity to develop their natural movement ability in a multi-sensory environment. Music, movement, visuals, and props will enhance your dancer’s love of the art form and the unique conceptual approach to dance education will provide a strong foundation for technical and cognitive growth. Each class will enhance your child’s love of the art form while also learning proper dance terminology, movement concepts, and class etiquette. Classes are educational, fun, and age-appropriate!
What to expect during our first few classes...
Your dancer will be introduced to class expectations and structure as well as gaining familiarity with the classroom setting. As each week progresses we will learn more dance concepts. At home, you may begin to see your dancer singing our songs, performing, and even pretending to be the teacher. We encourage you to PLAY along and help us continue the EXPLORING outside of class!
